Kirat Cultural Festival 2025

Kirat Cultural Festival 2025

The Kirat Community Organization of Akron, Ohio, Inc. is organizing a Kirat Cultural Festival 2025 in celebration of Akron City’s Bicentennial. As a vibrant and growing part of Akron’s diverse cultural tapestry, the Kirat community is proud to contribute to this historic milestone by hosting a series of  cultural programs  that highlight our rich cultural heritage, traditions, and commitment to the Akron community. The main purpose to organize the event is to enable the Kirat community’s typical rich culture to smoothly integrate into the American mainstream society. The festival will include cultural performances such as traditional dances, songs and music. There will be kid-friendly games, cultural art expo, Nepali foods and much more! The Kirat community has a rich and unique cultural heritage, and is part of the larger Bhutanese American community of greater Akron. We are thankful to the North Hill CDC, the Kirat Community Organization of America, and the Bhutanese Kirat Rai Organization of America Branch Akron and the Bhutanese Community Association of Akron (BCAA) for their support in organizing this Festival.
